Plants fail in silence.

By the time a leaf droops, the damage is already days old.

Raw counts and the band are the reading.

Sprout never invents a percentage. It reads the soil and classifies it into seven calibrated bands — and everything follows from that.

A capacitive probe reports thirst four times an hour.
Mood and watering derive from the band, never an index.
Gaps in the data are surfaced, not smoothed over.
Watering waits until calibration makes it safe.
